C/Fix

C/Fix is a translator that converts VMS®-specific C code to C code that is compatible with LIBR8, on UNIX systems. VMS-specific interface routines will be translated to routines that will link transparently with Open LIBR8, Accler8's library of VMS system services and runtime library calls.

Features/functionality:

Convert all VMS system service and runtime library calls to lowercase.

Argument completion for VMS runtime library calls with variable arguments.

Convert VMS specific forms of #include.

Handle logical names in file opens and #include statements.

Convert $DESCRIPTOR to DESCRIPTOR$.

Remove RMS extensions from file open calls.

Convert dollar signs to underscores in VMS calls.

Do argument checking by adding a function prototype include file for VMS system services and runtime libraries for use with ANSI C compilers.
