Open LIBR8

Open LIBR8 is a library of callable routines, native to and optimized for UNIX®, using the same naming conventions as the VAX/VMS runtime system. Open LIBR8 incorporates many popular VMS® programming features including: Asynchronous System Trap Services; Event Flag Services; File Utility Library Routines; Logical Names; Mailbox Services; Memory Management Services; Process Control System Services; Queued I/O; String and Mathematical Routines; RMS Files; SMG Routines (sold separately); and lock management.
