scsiComm Server

Central Data's scsiComm Server provides flexible, cost-effective, enterprise-wide I/O expansion for IRIX-based workstations. Its desktop or rack-mountable cabinet can contain up to four scsiServer modules, enabling you to customize your scsiComm Server with the specific I/O mix you need. The scsiComm Server can control up to hundreds of serial and parallel ports, from a few feet to 1,500 ft. from your IRIX host. The scsiComm Server connects to the SCSI port, without requiring any internal system card slots. It's the ideal solution for connecting large numbers of modems, printers, or terminals.
