db-UIM/X is an object oriented development tool for building Motif based client-server applications for accessing relational databases. The db-UIM/X front end is UIM/X, the market leading graphical User Interface Builder. db-UIM/X extends the features and functionality of UIM/X with a Network Object Toolkit. the Tooliket adds the ability to browse databases and then graphically "bind" network database objects (tables, columns, stored procedures, etc.) to user interface objects (text fields, scrolled lists, etc.). An Object Request Broker ensures transparent network access. db-UIM/X allows developers to take advantage of the client-server architecture and process valuable database information in a customized and time efective manner.
