CAPBAK/X is a client-server GUI capture/playback system for X-Windows. This newest addition to SR's Software TestWorks (STW) breaks new ground with powerful triple-mode testing: intermixable and switchable ObjectMode and TrueTime operation combined with Character Mode operation from its built-in OCR engine; interpreted C-language scripts; ultra-reliable TrueTime automatic output synchronization.

CAPBAK/X 5.0 also includes: Xvirtual to background your tests and to generate realistic, multi-user loads; Xdemo to send realistic live demos of your applicaiton into the field; Xflight for beta-site test/usage data collection plus field recovery of crash data.
