UIM/X
UIM/X 3.0 is a 3rd generation visual development tool with advanced GUI layout functionality, sophisticated visual constraint editing and comprehensive features for interactively adding logic and behavior to user interfaces during design.
UIM/X 3.0 contains an embedded, robust ANSI-compliant C++ interpreter. The C++ interpreter is at the heart of UIM/X, enabling developers to preview working applications built in standard programming languages without ever leaving the tool. Incremental changes to the GUI can be made while the underlying application is connected and fully functional. This allows professionals to realize dramatic productivity gains and avoid time consuming "compile-edit-debug" development cycles.
UIM/X 3.0 offers a visual editor for adding behavior. The Connection Editor enables developers to graphically connect components and add sophisticated behavior by using simple visual techniques such as drag and drop. Users with little or no programming experience can create fully functional interfaces in minutes.
UIM/X 3.0 visual model for building highly reusable GUI components insupports true object either C or C++. oriented development, providing a visual model for building highly reusable GUI components in either C or C++. UIM/X enables developers to graphically define class hierarchies with inheritance, encapsulation and polymorphism. Using the same component based architecture, our Cross-Platform Toolset (CPT) extends deployment to Win95/WinNT and Java. UIM/X generates high-quality C++, ANSI or K&R C code, and also UIL.
