Cygnus Developer's Toolkit

The Cygnus Developer's Toolkit consists of the highly optimized GNU C compiler, C++ compiler, debugger, with GUI macro-assembler, and a set of powerful binary utilities. Cygnus' GNU tools provide an industry standard, low-cost development solution hosted on SGI's IRIS for native or cross development targeting the MIPS R3000 or R4000 family of microprocessors. GNU tools from Cygnus come in source code form, are freely redistributable, and have no license managers. This freedom and Cygnus's qualified technical support, eliminates many problems typically found in porting and maintaining "off the shelf" development solutions.
