Digital ImageCorder

The Digital ImageCorder is a digital film recorder that produces high-resolution, full-color (16 million colors) hard copy from graphics workstations. It offers a fast SCSI interface, and has an Impressario driver available which can transfer raster and PostScript images at very high speeds (2.5 Mbytes/sec.). Digital ImageCorder can record images at resolutions of over 2,000 lines. Multiple formats are supported including 35mm. slides, 4x5 and 8x10 prints and transparencies, and pin registered 16mm and 35mm animation. Images are recorded at a very fast four per minute. Typical users applications are molecular modeling, microscopy, computer graphics and animation, and medical imaging.
