Avion is a new hardware and software "solution" providing broadcast quality video in and out of the SGI Indigo2 platform. For the first time, a board provides R, G, B and Alpha for video applications on the SGI. When used with Liberty® paint and animation, Avion turns the SGI into a broadcast production workstation.
