Dataview SDA-50

The Dataview SDA-50 is a high quality video interface for Indigo2, Indy, and Challenge S computers. Using any Dataview model, video clips can be loaded from or written to tape from any filesystem. By specifiying a timecode and the length of the clip, the Dataview SDA will capture CCIR-601 video as individual Quantel YUV files directly into a filesystem without the use of a video disk recorder. Since the Dataview SDA's integrated RS422 control allows all types of VTRs to be frame accurately controlled, the capture happens with the Dtaaview automatically doing the necessary edits to capture all frames required to the host computer.
