PHANTOM

The PHANTOM Haptic Interface makes it possible for users to touch and manipulate virtual objects. It is unique in that it offers realistic 3D touch, the ability to feel the physical properties of virtual 3D objects, with much higher fidelity at a much lower cost than previous force feedback devices. Current and future applications for the PHANTOM include CAD/CAM, Entertainment, Animation, Medicine, and Nanomanipulation.
