WILDFORCE

WILDFORCE is a Reconfigurable Computing Engine, with 5 Xilinx 4000/EX/LX Series Field programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) for Processing Elements. WILDFORCE ia full-sized PCI board, which acts as an attatched processor to the host, including SGI Origin 200. Processing intensive algorithms (such as digital signal processing and image processing) can be implemented on the FPGAs, with dramatic increase in computational speed.
