AdaCAST

The primary product of Vector Software is the CAST family of software tools. CAST is an acronym for Computer Aided Software Test.

The technology of the CAST family of products was first released in 1994 for the Ada language and is marketed and licensed under the name AdaCAST.

AdaCAST is a Computer Aided Software Test (CAST) tool that allows you to test Ada language components without writing test code. This compiler and platform specific productivity tool automates the current manual process of unit or structural level testing. Besides providing test process definition, the benefits recognized with its use are reduced cost due to productivity and a reduction in the burden placed on individual developers to build test codes before actual testing can begin.
