Software for SGI IRIX workstations provides icon-based Motif graphical user interface with a complete set of image retouch, image processing, graphics annotation and special effects tools for manipulation of color, grayscale, and black/white image data. Pixel!EDIT users can cut, copy and paste between images, perform freehand drawing and painting, and add text to images. Advanced functionality includes unlimited undo/redo, image stitching, multi-page image manipulation, multi-window/multiple active tool interface, and overlay graphics. Processing tools enable blurring, smudging and color-level adjustments. Can be purchased as a standalone product or as part of the Pixel!FX Deluxe family of integrated end-to-end imaging products.
