XPRESS-MP

XPRESS-MP is a complete, high-performance optimization system that is widely used for planning and scheduling in manufacturing, chemicals, petrochemicals, airlines, and other industries where optimal allocation of resources yields large extra profits. XPRESS-MP provides facilities for modeling and solving large-scale linear and integer programming problems. The modeling language uses a natural constraint-oriented formulation style. It can read data from a variety of sources and produces models either in the industry standard MPS format or in an efficient binary form. The optimizer incorporates state-of-the-art algorithms for fast solutions. Sophisticated controls are provided for the advanced user in searching for integer solutions, or the effective defaults can confidently be used.
