Med-Link

Med-Link is a data conversion system that uses CT or MR imaging data processed by Image Volumes medical imaging software to create 3-D models in I-DEAS Master Series mechanical design software. Medical professionals can now use CAD/CAM engineering tools on 3-D models created from each of their patient's actual data. Benefits include more thorough and accurate planning of tumor removals, complex reconstructions, multiple osteotomies, etc., and computer-archived visual documentation of each patient's surgery plan. Manufacturers can use the system to make custom artifical joints, limbs and prostheses. DCR provides the software components and systems, including training and support.
