VoxelView®/ULTRA takes advantage of SGI's advanced graphics systems to produce dramatically advanced, high speed interactive volume rendering and analysis. This software system significantly increases absolute rendering speed and rendering efficiency. VoxelView/ULTRA renders over 50 million voxels per second on an Onyx RE . In addition, VoxelView/ULTRA gives users the unique option to embed traditional geometric graphics inside a volume of 3D data. Other key features include: control of all rendering parameters (such as opacity, lighting, rotation, zoom, thresholding, and color), comprehensive measurement capabilities, and multi-channel rendering.
