  35.  ESW Cobra 2.2 can be installed and should run on the following platforms:
  36.   WindowsCE
  37.   PalmOS
  38.   Windows95/98/NT
  39.   Internet Browser: any Java capable Internet Browser
  40.   Java Platform: any other Java capable system, such as generic Unix systems

  45.  Install Waba Virtual Machine for your device CPU, MIPS or SH3, using the
  46.  files and instructions contained in wabavm-wince-mips.10.zip or
  47.  wabavm-wince-sh3.10.zip files.
  48.  
  49.  On your WindowsCE device create "\Program Files\Cobra" directory. Copy
  50.  "Cobra.prc" file to this directory. Copy the "Cobra.lnk" file to
  51.  "\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games" directory.

  53.  Start ESW Cobra 2.2 from the device "Start\Programs\Games" menu.

  55. PalmOS Installation Instructions
  56. --------------------------------

  58.  Install Waba Virtual Machine for your device using the files and instructions
  59.  contained in wabavm-palm.10b.zip file.
  60.  
  61.  Install Cobra.prc and Cobra.pdb files using the Pilot install tool that comes
  62.  as part of the Pilot desktop.

  64.  To start ESW Cobra 2.2, press the Applications button to look at the list of
  65.  installed programs. Clicking on the Cobra application will start the game.

  67. Windows95/98/NT Installation Instructions

  70.  Copy Cobra.zip, Cobra.bat and CobraWin.lnk to any directory.

  72.  To start ESW Cobra 2.2, run Cobra.bat or double-click on CobraWin.lnk.

  77.  Copy Cobra.zip and Cobra.htm files to any directory or your Web site.

  79.  To start ESW Cobra 2.2, open Cobra.htm with your Internet Browser.

  81.  WARNING: due to Java security features, game options and scores will
  82.   be reset if you reload the game page.

  95. Game Instructions

  98.  Game playing instructions can be found on Cobra.htm file.

  100. Known Problems
  101. --------------

  103.  Some applications set a value to the environment variable CLASSPATH, if this
  104.  happens you may not be able to run the game from command line or browser. Try
  105.  to use Cobra.bat, where a SET CLASSPATH= statement was added to clear
  106.  CLASSPATH valiable or clear it yourself.

  108.  On some versions of Sun java runtime, the keyboard presses are not catched by
  109.  the game, try to upgrade your version or use Microsoft jview.

  111. Tested Configurations
  112. ---------------------

  114.  The game was tested on WindowsCE 2.11 (Compaq Aero 2130 device),
  115.  PalmOS 3.1.1 (3Com Palm IIIe), Windows98, WindowsNT 4.0 and
  116.  Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0.

  125.  Now you can steer the Cobra by touching or clicking on the game field.

  127.  Turn option does not affect game screen direction buttons.

  129.  Mice created at the Cobra tail does not disappear from screen.
  130.  
  131.  Page-up and page-down keys on PalmOS work as up and down keys on WindowsCE.
