  1. Extract 3.02 -- A UUDecoder for Windows OR DOS.

  3. Short Description:  UUDecoder for Windows or DOS

  5. Full Description:
  6.  
  7. Extract 3.04 is a shareware program that allow painless decoding of 
  8. UUEncoded files on MSDOS. machines.  A few of the features offered by 
  9. this program are:
  10.  
  11. -     The program runs in either MSDOS as a command line application 
  12.       or in Windows 3.x as a full blown multitasking windows
  13.       application.
  14.  
  15. -     The ability to reject all extraneous information embedded in the 
  16.       UU file. This includes, but is not limited to Header and Signature 
  17.       blocks.
  18.  
  19. -     The ability to extract multiple files from a single UU encoded
  20.       file.  The only limitation is that the split sections must be 
  21.       added in the correct order.
  22.  
  23. -     Supports all know formats of UUEncoding common on the Internet.
  24.  
  25. -     The windows version automatically detects the most recent
  26.       UUEncoded file stored in a directory specified by the user and
  27.       uses as pre-selects it.
  28.  
  29. -     Supports command line operation in the Windows environment as
  30.       well.
  31.  
  32. Changes in 3.01 / 3.02:

  34. -     The decoding engine has been markedly improved and in the last two
  35.       months of testing no errors has been found.
  36.  
  37. -     More comprehensive context sensitive help for all error messages.
  38.  
  39. -     Better tie into the task manager system.
  40.  
  41. -     And a few minor GUI changes.

  43. Changes in 3.03:

  45. -     Now works in 1024 mode.

  47. -     Repaired the error that caused Error 302: to appear on some systems.

  49. Changes in 3.04:

  51. -     Now can handle multi-file uudecodes of the form file1.u, file2,u, etc..
