  1. Rebel Runner Demo
  2.  
  3. Installing the game (if downloaded the .ZIP version):
  4. - Create a directory called "c:\digital" (you can use another drive, but
  5.    you must use the directory name "digital"!).
  6. - Unzip the .ZIP file to the directory (e.g. "pkunzip digital.zip c:\digital").
  7. - Run the install program (e.g. "install") and make sure you specify a
  8.    different install directory (e.g. "c:\ddemo").
  9. - Do not delete the "c:\digital" directory unless you want to remove the demo.
  10. - Run "setup" in the installed directory (e.g. "c:\ddemo").
  11. - Select "Sound Card" to setup the sound card, "Input Device" to select
  12.    keyboard or joystick.
  13. - To play the interactive demo, copy the file "demoint.exe" from the directory
  14.    where you unzipped the demo to the directory where you installed
  15.    the demo (e.g. "copy c:\digital\demoint.exe c:\ddemo").

  17. Installing the game (if running from the CD-ROM version):
  18. - Change to the digital directory (e.g. "cd d:\digital").
  19. - Type "install".
  20. - Select "Install" to install the demo, "Sound Card" to setup the sound card,
  21.    "Directory" to change the install directory and "Input Device" to select
  22.    keyboard or joystick.
  23. - To play the interactive demo, copy the file "demoint.exe" from the CD
  24.    to the directory where you installed the demo
  25.    (e.g. "copy d:\digital\demoint.exe c:\digital").

  27. Playing the game:
  28. - Type "dc" to start the non-interactive demo, "demoint" to start the
  29.    interactive demo.
  30. - Interactive demo: Use the left and right arrow keys to move, ALT to jump,
  31.    CTRL to fire, F1 to pause, F10 to end.

  33. This demo contains one level only.  For the full game, contact Microforum or
  34. check your local computer software store.
