  4. In three languages (Spanish, French and English) and
  5. in the context of the Costa Rican rain forest, the 
  6. full version of Zurk's Rainforest Lab teaches 
  7. life science, math and creative writing to children
  8. 5 - 9. They explore the rain forest, classify
  9. animals, take pictures and then write a story about
  10. their experience, complete pattern puzzles using
  11. geometry, or explore the rain forest with an animated 
  12. cursor cub.

  35. This demo of the trilingual version of Zurk's Rainforest 
  36. Lab (ZRL) requires that you have QuickTime for Windows 
  37. installed.
  38.  
  39. To install the program:
  40.  
  41. 1) Double-click on INSTALL.EXE in the demo directory.
  42.  
  43. 2) Follow the instructions on your screen.
  44.  
  45. 3) To run the program, double-click on the Zurk's Rainforest
  46.    Lab demo icon in your Soleil program group on your 
  47.    desktop.

  49. Selection of languages:

  51. The languages, French and Spanish (English is the default 
  52. language) can be sampled in the Puzzle activity. Just click
  53. on the "Light Bulb" icon, then click on the hat in the text 
  54. box to change language. Click on the ear to hear it read aloud.
