  13. HOW TO PLAY
  14.  
  15. Make sure you have at least 2Mb of EMS memory available for this game before 
  16. you run the program.  To make EMS available to dos programs you need a line 
  17. similar to the following, in your config.sys file - 'DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE 
  18. 2048' Win95 users need to configure their system so that 2Mb of EMS are 
  19. available to the program when it is run.  Refer to your Dos or Win95 Manual 
  20. for more information on making EMS/expanded memory available.
  21.   Type 'mg3d' and press enter to run the program.  If you have a Sound 
  22. Blaster compatible card it should be automatically initialized when you run 
  23. the program.
  24.   When the title screen appears you should press the Spacebar to start 
  25. a new game.  You will be asked how many people are going to play this
  26. game.  Enter a number from 1 to 9.  You must then enter the name of each
  27. player.  You will then get to play each of the 9 holes in this shareware
  28. version, each player taking it in turn to play the current hole.  Before
  29. each shot you will be aimed roughly at the hole.  The keys for aiming and
  30. shooting and changing your viewpoint are as follows:

  32. left/right cursor keys: Aim to left or right
  33. right shift key: Hold down for more accurate aiming
  34. up/down cursor keys: Change angle of view
  35. + & - : Zoom the view out or in.
  36. Spacebar: Hold to take your shot.  When you press down on the spacebar a 
  37.           power bar will rise up on the left of the screen.  The longer you
  38.           hold the spacebar down the more powerfull your shot will be.
  39. O,L: turn aiming line off,on
  40. Q: quit program during a hole
  41.  
  42. Scores are shown after each hole, the person with the lowest score (least
  43. shots taken) at the end of the course wins.
  44. To quit press Escape at the title screen or 'Q' during a hole.
