  10.     The MPEG anim omega.mpg was created on an Amiga A1200,
  11. Blizzard 1230 IV, 4MB, 50 Mhz FPU and 80 MB HDD using the following 
  12. software :

  14.     Lightwave 3.5
  15.     ImageFX 2
  16.     Photogenics v1
  17.     Flam -PD flame generator
  18.     Dechunk - PD file splitter for amiga/PC/UNIX
  19.  
  20.     The animation needs to be played back at 15fps. You need a pretty
  21. fast Amiga to do so, my setup plays it at about 4fps!!!

  23.     All objects, except the "stars" and the "planet" were created by
  24. myself using Lightwave.

  26.     I have been using the Amiga for about 4 years now and have been
  27. doing 3D for about 1-2 years (since Imagine coverdisk, nice one ;) ).
  28. It is only recently that I have started to take it seriously, and this
  29. is my first major animation. It took about 4-5 months to build all the
  30. objects, setup the scenes's and to render everything out. The final 
  31. frame_count was 1111, just about fitted on my harddirve. I am looking
  32. for work in the games industry, preferably making games for the Amiga. 
  33. I would very much appreciate any feedback regarding my animation work or
  34. prospective employment. As this will enable me to judge if I should 
  35. upgrade my system to a more powerful one.
