  42.         Battle Wrath requires the following system:

  44.                                 8 megabytes free RAM
  45.                                 VESA compatible SVGA graphics
  46.                                 Approximately 8 megabytes of hard disk space

  48.         Cerebral Gaming Systems recommends the following:

  59. TO INSTALL:
  60.         If installing from a diskette purchased from a shareware warehouse:
  61.                 Place Battle Wrath diskette #1 in the A: drive and
  62.                 type "A:INSTALL" and press return.
  63.  
  64.         If installing from a BBS or third party diskette (You need PKUNZIP):
  65.                 Type "PKUNZIP WRATH -d" and press return to 
  66.                 uncompress the game.
  67.                 When complete type "SETUP" and press return to configure
  68.                 the sound.

  70. TO PLAY NOW:
  71.         Once the game is installed, simply type "WRATH"
  72.         and press return to begin play.

  74. A WORD ABOUT COMPATIBILITY:
  75.         Battle Wrath was developed and tested on as wide a variety of PCs as
  76.         possible. We were unable to prepare our game for every operating 
  77.         environment that might be encountered. File compressers, networks,
  78.         accelerators and other hardware or software devices might affect the
  79.         performance of Battle Wrath. If you encounter difficulties using
  80.         Battle Wrath, disable any such devices to be sure that they are not 
  81.         affecting perfomance.

  83. VESA SVGA:
  84.         This game works only with computers that conform to the VESA SVGA
  85.         standard. If your computer does not automatically support this
  86.         standard, you may need to run a VESA TSR (Terminate Stay Resident)
  87.         driver supplied by your graphics card manufacturer. 
  88.  
  89.         These TSRs are available free of charge on most BBSs, including 
  90.         Compuserve, America On Line, Genie, Internet, and a host of others. 
  91.         In addition, the dealer that sold you the hardware should have 
  92.         access to the drivers. Should you not have access to these sources,
  93.         the following section lists the numbers of some common video board 
  94.         manufacturers.

  115. UNIVBE:
  116.         UniVBE is a VESA display driver that works on most video cards.
  117.         As an alternative to contacting the previously mentioned companies,
  118.         UniVBE can be downloaded from most major BBSs.
  119.  
  120. PG MODE (C):
  121.         PG Mode is a method of scaling down the violence in Battle Wrath.
  122.         When PG Mode is off, the game shows full gore - Heads and limbs can
  123.         be severed and blood will flow. With PG Mode on, no severs can take
  124.         place and blood is replaced with 'hit' stars.
  125.  
  126.         Cerebral Gaming Systems recognizes that the level of violence in
  127.         Battle Wrath may detract from the enjoyment of the game for some 
  128.         people. When the game is first installed a password can be entered
  129.         to prevent underage players from misusing the game. If you downloaded
  130.         this game from a bulletin board, the password would be the ENTER key. 
  131.         To change the password at any time, simply type "PASSWORD" while in 
  132.         the Battle Wrath directory.
  133.  
  134.         Whenever a player attempts to turn PG Mode off, the game prompts the 
  135.         user for the password. If the entered value is not correct the game
  136.         remains in PG Mode - heads and arms remain firmly attached and no
  137.         blood flows.
  138.  
  139.         DO NOT FORGET YOUR PASSWORD! Cerebral Gaming Systems can NOT retrieve
  140.         this password for you should you lose or forget it. Write it down
  141.         somewhere safe.
  142.  
  143. HOW TO PLAY:
  144.         The file, WARRIORS.TXT, contains information about controlling the
  145.         individual warriors included with this game. This file is specially
  146.         formatted to be printed and used as a reference sheet.
  147.  
  148.         General instructions and explanations are included under the
  149.         INSTRUCTIONS icon in the main menu of the game.
