  1.              Welcome to PredMan - Pro Football Edition  Version 1.0

  3. PredMan runs on Windows (tm). Please print the PMPFL.DOC file. This file
  4. contains information about the installation of PredMan and is a User's Manual.
  5. The document is very handy in helping you understand the premise and use of
  6. the game. A few notes about some of the files in this diskette:

  8. README     : This document.
  9. PMPFL.DOC  : The User's Manual.
  10. ORDERFRM   : The order form.  Print, fill out, and mail if ordering.
  11. MEMBERS.DAT: Sample members data file. (See Sample note below)
  12. RESULTS.DAT: Sample PFL results data file. (See Sample note below)
  13. JAVIER.PRD : Sample predictions file. (See Sample note below)
  14. CARLOS.PRD : Sample predictions file. (See Sample note below)
  15. SERGIO.PRD : Sample predictions file. (See Sample note below)

  18. Sample note:
  19.         When you install PredMan, the initial state of the game is that there
  20. are no members and therefore no member predictions and no game results.  The
  21. game currently contains the 1994 pro football schedule which of course is
  22. already over.  You should first look around and see how you start your game
  23. by entering member's names followed by entering your predictions and other
  24. options that are available. You can follow the steps in Establishing Your
  25. Predictions League section of the User's Manual for more details.  If you
  26. would like to see how the game operates once a predictions league is formed,
  27. then you can copy the sample data files mentioned above to the directory that
  28. PredMan resides and invoke PredMan.  You will able to see the rest of the
  29. options and windows that were not available before a league was formed.
  30. Once you get familiar with the game and its operation, then you can start
  31. forming your predictions league.

  33. This shareware version contains the 1994 schedule and only 3 players can play.
  34. You can enter the new schedule by using the build-in utility or if you order
  35. the registered version, it will contain the upcoming schedule (as soon as it
  36. becomes available). Also, the registered version will allow up to 15 players.
