  1. An accordion is a musical instrument of the 
  2. free-reed organ type comprising left and 
  3. right wind chests connected by flexible 
  4. bellows. The right hand plays melody on a 
  5. piano-style keyboard of 26 to 34 keys while
  6. the left hand has a system of push buttons 
  7. for selecting single notes or chord 
  8. harmonies. It was invented by Cyrill Damien
  9. in Vienna in 1829, the accordion spread 
  10. throughout the world and can be heard in 
  11. popular music of Germany, France, China, 
  12. Russia, and the USA.
