  5. gums. Synthetic adhesives include
  6. thermoplastic and thermosetting resins, which
  7. are often stronger than the substances they
  8. join; mixtures of epoxy resin and hardener
  9. that set by chemical reaction; and
  10. elastomeric (stretching) adhesives for
  11. flexible joints.
