  5. Sweden, met to settle the question of
  6. Morocco. The conference was prompted by
  7. increased German demands in what had
  8. traditionally been seen as a French area of
  9. influence, but it resulted in a reassertion
  10. of Anglo-French friendship and the increased
  11. isolation of Germany.
