  7. imprisoned in the 1960s and intellectually
  8. ostracized for not keeping to Maoist literary
  9. rules; she was rehabilitated 1979. Her
  10. husband was the writer Hu Yapin, executed by
  11. Chiang Kai-Shek's police 1931.
