  1.                           *** v. 2.00 Changes ***
  2.  
  3.     Support for viewing/saving PCX, TIFF, and Windows BMP(compressed
  4. with RLE) files has been added.
  5.     The slideshow/batch conversion dialog box has some improvements.
  6. The "*.jpg", "*.gif", "*.tga" buttons were removed and replaced with
  7. file extension filter buttons and a "Select/Unselect All" button.
  8. The delay setting and the Cycle Slideshow were moved to a new Slideshow
  9. Options dialog box.  Also, a manual slide advancement feature eliminates
  10. the time delay between images in a slideshow and lets you advance to
  11. the next image by pressing the right mouse button.
  12.     Cropping an image is now possible.  Also, you can select a 
  13. region to be copied to the clipboard.
  14.     In the Save common dialog, the save filename's extension
  15. automatically changes to the extension of the file type that you select.
  16.     The resize dialog has been improved; buttons for common resolutions
  17. such as 640x480, 800x600, maximum fit, etc. were added.  Thanks to
  18. J.Durbin for the suggestion for maximum fit.
  19.     Scrolling an image is faster in this version.  Thanks to J.Bradford
  20. for the suggestion.
  21.     WinJPEG now gives CPU time to other programs while you are saving/
  22. loading any file format.
  23.     Added a delete current file feature.
  24.     The maximum number of possible colors in the displayed image is shown in 
  25. the caption bar after the image resolution.
  26.     WinJPEG will warn you if the image has changed or if there has been
  27. loss in image data because of quantization or dithering performed as the
  28. image was initially loaded.
  29.     8-bit Targas no longer look grainy when they are viewed.
  30.     The old open/save dialogs have been removed.
  31.     The Low Priority option has been removed.
  32.     This version checks if the options file is compatible with the current version.
  33.     Bug fixes:
  34.     When you displayed a very large image and scrolled toward the bottom, the
  35. region near the bottom would be blank.
  36.     When you attempted to resize an image and you didn't have enough
  37. memory, a GPF occurred.

  47. - Bug fixes:
  48.   - The scroll bar position is now reset to the beginning correctly when
  49. you load an image with Auto Resize off and Show Scrollbars on.
  50.   - If you are using common dialogs and you use JPEG Preview, all
  51. subsequently viewed JPEGs will be displayed in Preview mode.

  74.   "8-bit Bitmap" can be used when you are loading 24-bit BMP files.

  77. - The following bugs are corrected:
  78.   - when you close WinJPEG with the system menu while it is decoding/
  79.     encoding an image, the program would continue running.  Also, temp.
  80.     files would be left in the temp. directory.
  81.   - when you resize the window or when you minimize the window and restore
  82.     it, the scroll bar-thumb's position would be lost.  Specifically, it
  83.     would be reset to the top of the scroll bar.
  84.   - the menu items would still be active during compression/
  85.     decompression of an image
  86.   - with some pictures, there was an extraneous blank vertical strip on
  87.      the right of the displayed picture.
  88.   - some of the buttons were missing an underlined character and the
  89.     buttons with the underlined character didn't respond to the ALT +
  90.     underlined character combination
  91.   - 24-bit bitmaps did not save correctly
  92. - Improved the scroll bar logic.  Many thanks to D. Yee for his suggestions
  93.   and pointing out most of the bugs listed above.
  94. - Changes to the Batch Conversion/Slideshow dialog boxes:  Only files with
  95.   valid file extensions, *.tga, *.gif, and *.jpg(for slideshow only), are
  96.   listed.  Added "*.jpg" button to the Slideshow dialog box.

  101. - Replaced the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) routines with Tom Lane's
  102.   v.3a(beta) update of the IJPEG software. 
  103. - Added Dither24to15 option for display of 24-bit images in 32k/64k color
  104.   modes
  105. - Changed the Low Priority option to give more CPU time to other programs.
  106. - Moved the JPEG Options and Memory Options menu items to the Options menu.
  107. - Bug fixes:
  108.   - When you load a 24-bit BMP file and use RGB/HSV adjustment, WinJPEG
  109.     used to cause a UAE/GPF in some cases. 
  110.   - When you change directories in the Save dialog, the suggested filename
  111.     doesn't change to the default spec(e.g. *.JPG) anymore.  Thanks to
