  1. REQUIRED: VGA, AdLib or SoundBlaster or compatible, DOS 3.32 or higher
  2. RECOMMENDED: mouse, hard disk

  4. IF YOU WANT TO TRY CD-BOX QUICKLY, create a directory, extract all the files 
  5.   from CDBOX303 into this directory, and type RUNME (French users, type
  6.   TAPEZMOI). More information is in "INSTALLATION" in CD-BOX.DOC.

  8. IF CD-BOX HANGS WHILE LOADING SONGS, type CD-BOX/D; the faulty song will be
  9.   displayed on the screen. Erase it or move it and run CD-Box again.

  11. .CMF PLAYBACK: SBFMDRV.COM has to be loaded in memory before starting CD-Box.
  12.  
  13. .ROL PLAYBACK: SOUND.COM has to be loaded in memory before starting CD-Box.
  14.  
  15. .MOD PLAYBACK: Quality may be improved (or downgraded) by changing the
  16.   MixingSpeed= parameter in CD-BOX.CFG. If many of your .MODs don't load, see 
  17.   "TROUBLE WITH .MOD FILES" in "trouble-shooting" in CD-BOX.DOC.

  19. .MID and .MUS require an external player; see CD-BOX.DOC for details.

  21. A QUESTION? Many answers are in CD-BOX.DOC, simply look at the table of
  22.   contents until you see the header you want. CD-BOX/? and CD-BOX/D may also
  23.   prove useful someday. If you're stuck, write me.

  25. CD-BOX IS SHAREWARE. Feel free to give CDBOX303.ZIP away and place it on BBS,
  26.   electronic bulletin boards, FTP servers and the like, as long as no charge
  27.   is asked for CD-Box. If you like it, don't forget to register!
