What's New in Programmer's Project Manager (PPM) Version 1.10
──> Advanced Options On Preferences Screens!
Programmers should now notice extra options on the compiler, linker,
virus scanner, and project compressor preferences screens. On each of
these screens, users can now force PPM to issue a beep-beep-beep when a
pause is issued after returning from one of these routines. On the
compiler screen, programmers can also specify whether or not a semi-
colon should be placed after the filename on the compile command line.
This is extremely useful for users of Visual Basic for DOS, who need
this on the command line for the compiler to accept the default
settings.
──> Enhanced Pausing Routines!
Pausing routines have been significantly enhanced in version 1.10 of
PPM. Programmers can now press any key on the keyboard or click any
mouse button to return from a pause command. The pause commands are
centered on the bottom of the screen, and appear as bright white text
on a blue background to make them more noticeable.
──> Added PPM Protected Mode Editor!
Created protected mode PPM Editor to allow the use of all available
memory when editing files. Individual file sizes are still limited to
64K. DPMI support files (RTM.EXE and DPMI16BI.OVL will be distributed
with the new editor.) The new protected-mode editor can only be used
on 286 computers and up.
──> Added New Options To The Compile Menu!
Added menu options to the Compile menu. The first option allows
programmers to compile changed modules and link automatically. The
second new option allows users to compile all modules and link
automatically.
──> Added New File Filters To The Browse Screen!
Added *.LIB and *.QLB file filters to the browse screen to aid users
when searching for libraries.
──> Enhanced Support For Editor Command Line Switches!
The Project Editors screens have been combined into one screen, and
allow both "pre-switches" and "post-switches" to be sent to an external
editor. "Pre" and "post" refer to the positioning of the command line
switches on the command line. Pre-switches are sent to the editor
before the name of the file to be edited, and post-switches are sent to
the editor after the name of the file to be edited.

to the file PPM.REV.)

──> Initial Release!
STSI is proud to introduce PPM into the shareware market. PPM is a
utility designed to make programming easier. Much easier! By setting
up your own program in PPM, you can compile and link your source files,
compress the resulting EXE file, date and time stamp selected release

files, scan them for viruses, create a final compressed file in .ZIP,
.ARJ, or .SQZ format, and copy any of the above categories of files to
destination directories on any drive. PPM is meant to be a complete
environment, helping you put together a program from start to finish.
