  1. The \yeEdit\no command can be used to edit an existing public message on the 
  2. current subboard. You may only edit a message which you posted; subsysops 
  3. can edit any message on their respective sub-boards, and sysops, of course, 
  4. can edit any message in the system.
  5.      Edit allows you to assign "protected" status to a message. Protected 
  6. messages will not be deleted during a mass message purge. However, a 
  7. protected message can still be deleted individually with \yeKill\no.
  8.      A full explination of how to use the text editor is available from 
  9. within the editor; follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
