INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------
1 Tbsp Butter
1 cup Brown sugar
2 Tbsp Milk
1 cup Milk
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 ea Egg yolk
1 tsp Vanilla
DIRECTIONS ------------------------------------------------------------
Brown butter, add brown sugar and 2 T. milk, cook to a taffy. Add
milk, thicken with cornstarch and yolk of one egg. Flavor with one
teaspoon vanilla. Fill baked pie crust with above and cover with
merigue made by beating egg whit to a stiff froth to which add 1 T.
sugar and brown lightly in over. Fills one 9-inch pan.
