  3. FIXES since release 1.1:

  5. -- Two problems contributed to the occasional hang problem. One was a  
  6. problem with the HPLJ driver hanging on deinstallation. Whether or not it
  7. would hang depended on the value in a particular register in the printer 
  8. driver - something that didn't usually cause a problem!
  9.  
  10. We hope that you will no longer have to enable or disable SMARTDRV or QEMM 
  11. or any other disk-cacheing software in order to keep GAKUSEI from hanging.
  12.  
  13. -- If you had attempted initializing your HPLJ2 printer from the dictioanry,
  14. you might have been blown out of Gakusei.
  15.  
  16. -- If you initialize your printer from any one of exercises 26-30, and you
  17. haven't set up your printer before, the printer initialization will work,
  18. but you'll see odd Kanji characters on the screen that shouldn't be there.
  19. Video problem now fixed.
