  12. Question:  I have a 2 MB AT and TommySoftware CAD/DRAW doesn't work.

  14. TommySoftware CAD/DRAW requires approx. 1600KB free RAM. Please check Program
  15. Manager, Help, About Program Manager if you have 1.6 MB RAM free. You may
  16. however delete the file TSCADRAW.MPI - this will force TommySoftware CAD/DRAW
  17. to start with minimal memory usage.

  20. Question:  I have a 2 MB 386SX and TommySoftware CAD/DRAW doesn't work.

  22. Please check if you are running in standard or enhanced mode. If you have not
  23. enough memory you have to run Windows in enhanced mode. Use a permanent
  24. swapfile to get more RAM (see Windows manual).

  27. Question:  I'm a citizen of a country which is not listed in the start-up
  28.            dialog. How can I get an official version of TommySoftware CAD/DRAW?

  30. In the start-up dialog box, choose the entry "- Unlisted Country -". If you
  31. then register, you will be presented an international registration form.

  34. Question:  I'm working with Windows 3.0 and I tried to use your TASS-software.
  35.  
  36. This is not possible. TASS (not TommySoftware CAD/DRAW) requires Windows 3.1
  37. or later versions.
  38. If you do not have Windows 3.1, you will have to create and print any request
  39. by means of a standard editor. Send this request to the TommySoftware Support
  40. Center, whose address is stated in the file ADDRESS.TXT within the directory
  41. TSCADRAW\INFOS.

  48. Question:  I have problems with running TommySoftware CAD/DRAW in my OS/2
  49.            Windows Box. What should I do?
  50.  
  51. Use Windows 3.x. We do not support OS/2 and the OS/2 Windows Box. There is
  52. no intend to fix that problem, because it shows only that the OS/2-Windows Box
  53. isn't really compatible to Windows 3.x. Ask IBM for help.

  56. Question:  Sometimes TommySoftware CAD/DRAW does not copy all objects to the
  57.            Clipboard and sometimes it does not print the whole drawing.

  59. This bug is known in versions 1.05 and older. The bugs however were based on a
  60. bug in Microsoft's Windows. Just order an update from your local distributor.
  61. Make sure to receive the latest version of TommySoftware CAD/DRAW, at least
  62. version 1.11.

  65. Question:  I've downloaded TommySoftware CAD/DRAW and everything works fine -
  66.            with one exception: colors, zoom areas and the symbol-names in the
  67.            sample library are in a foreign language.

  69. You've got an old, faulty version of TommySoftware CAD/DRAW. Download the
  70. latest English version of TommySoftware CAD/DRAW.

  87. US-citizen and should not be used by others!

  90. Question:  I have received my registration card. How can I remove the words
  91.            "Unregistered version" from the program title?
  92.  
  93. In order to license your copy of TommySoftware CAD/DRAW, start the program.
  94. Then press the keys ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+RETURN (ALT+CTRL+RETURN, ALT+SHIFT+RETURN or
  95. SHIFT+CTRL+RETURN should also work). In the appearing dialog box, enter your
  96. name, the name of the company you work for (optional) and your serial number.
  97. You can find the serial number on your licence card.

  100. Question:  I moved the TommySoftware CAD/DRAW files into another directory. Now
  101.            the program cannot find the file "DINDRAFT.TVL". What shall I do?
  102.  
  103. It is recommended NOT to move the TommySoftware CAD/DRAW files after the
  104. installation. They should always reside in the directory TSCADRAW in the root
  105. directory. If you have to move the files to another drive, please do first
  106. re-install TommySoftware CAD/DRAW to that drive and then move all additional
  107. files (your own drawings, libraries and settings) into the new directory.
