  1. This is the 6th public release version of Miami.
  2.

  5. Although Miami can be used without prior installation it is
  6. recommended that you use the inclosed Installer script to
  7. properly install Miami.
  8.  
  9.  
  10. After that do the following:
  11.  
  12.  - If you have already used earlier versions of Miami then just
  13.    continue to use your Miami settings file. You do not have to
  14.    reconfigure Miami 2.0g in any way.
  15.  
  16.  
  17. If you have not used Miami before:
  18.  
  19.  - For serial connections (SLIP/PPP) start MiamiInit and follow
  20.    the instructions to configure your link. For other connections
  21.    (Ethernet/Arcnet etc.) start MiamiInitSANA2 and follow the
  22.    instructions to configure your link.
  23.  
  24.  - Start Miami and import the settings from MiamiInit or MiamiInitSANA2.
  25.  
  26.  - If you are using Miami in a local network that is NOT connected to
  27.    the Internet: on the TCP/IP page disable "dynamic hostname" and
  28.    type in the hostname manually.

  30.  - Save the settings

  32.  - Click on "Online".

  35. REGISTERED USERS: You can continue to use your Miami 1.x keyfiles
  36.                   with Miami 2.0g. Please install Miami 2.0g on top
  37.                   of your old installation, or copy your Miami
  38.                   keyfiles to the new installation directory BEFORE
  39.                   running the Installer script.
  40.                   
  41.                   Do NOT attempt to register again for 2.0g if you
  42.                   already have keyfiles for 1.x.

  45. UNREGISTERED USERS: If you would like to register please use the
  46.                     enclosed program MiamiRegister.
