New sound board from MediaTrix Peripherals Inc
AudioTrix Pro is a new sound card based on Yamaha's OPL4 synthesizer
chip and Crystal's CS4231 Codec. With these two chips it's compatible
with Windows Sound System, FM (OPL3 & OPL2) and General Midi. Additional
hardware provides compatibility with Sound Blaster and MPU-401.
Here's a short specification for the card

Yamaha OPL4:
- Compatible with OPL3 and OPL2
- 24 simultaneous voices with 16 pan levels
- sampling frequency is 44.1 kHz
- waveform data length is 8-, 12-, or 16-bit
- 2MB ROM General MIDI voice bank including 128 melodic sound
and 47 percussive sounds
- MPU-401 compatible interface
CS4231 Codec by Crystal:
- stereo 16-bit audio record/playback
- Hardware ADPCM compression and decompression (4:1)
- 16 byte FIFOs for on record and playback channels
- hardware timers
- sigma-delta A/D-D/A 16-bit converter
Output:
- Stereophonic output with software volume controls
- Power amplifier of 4 wats per channel at 4 ohms
Input:
- External line-in for recording from CDs, audio tapes etc.
- Microphone input (dynamic and electret supported)
Game/MIDI port:
- MIDI input and output for any external MIDI device (requires
an adapter cable)
- IBM standard game port
Expansion upgrade:
- Effects processor
- Karaoke voice processor
- RAM daughterboard (2MB OPL4 addressable memory)
- SCSI and other CD-ROM interfaces
Software:
- Lots of software for both Windows and MS-DOS
