  1. This is a guide to help you set up Cool Screen Saver (TM) for Windows/VIDEO.

  3. Example directory set up:   (Used by DEMO files)
  4.  
  5. C:\
  6.    |
  7.    |-\SCREEN
  8.          |
  9.          |-\AVI    (for Videos files)
  10.          |
  11.          |-\WAV    (for Sound files)
  12.          |
  13.          |-\BITMAP (for background art)
  14.          |
  15.          |-\CVS    (for CVS PROJECT files)

  18.  1. Copy the COOLSOFT.INI to your Windows directory.
  19.  
  20.  2. Modify the COOLSOFT.INI in your Windows directory to point to
  21.     the location of your DEFAULT CVS PROJECT file.
  22.     ex: C:\SCREEN\DEMO5.CVS
  23.  
  24.  3. Create directories for AVIs, WAVs, BITMAPs. If can be other places 
  25.     however we suggest the above structure.
  26.  
  27.  4. Copy CVS Demo files into CVS directory and other files to 
  28.     their respective directories.

  30.  5a. Copy BITMAPS into BITMAP directory. Copy YOUR AVI files to
  31.      the AVI directory. WAV files are optional as AVI files usually
  32.      have sound included. We give you the option. If directory 
  33.      structure is different then go to step 5b, overwise go to step 6.

  35.  5b. Modify DEMO files to point to your AVI, WAV, & BITMAPs.
  36.     *Remember the BITMAPs REQUIRE the use of /T switch to position Video.

  38.  6. Start Windows and open CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN GROUP.

  40.  7. Open DESKTOP in CONTROL GROUP.
  41.  
  42.  8. Scroll the SCREEN SAVER window until you find COOL SCREEN SAVER.
  43.  
  44.  9. Set DELAY timer. (default 5 min)
  45.  
  46.  10. Use SET UP to change CVS Projects, set PASSWORD, and other items.

  48.  11. Save by pressing OK.
