- This is a guide to help you set up Cool Screen Saver (TM) for Windows/VIDEO.

- Example directory set up: (Used by DEMO files)

- C:\

- |-\SCREEN

- |-\AVI (for Videos files)
- |
- |-\WAV (for Sound files)
- |
- |-\BITMAP (for background art)
- |
- |-\CVS (for CVS PROJECT files)

- 1. Copy the COOLSOFT.INI to your Windows directory.

- 2. Modify the COOLSOFT.INI in your Windows directory to point to
- the location of your DEFAULT CVS PROJECT file.
- ex: C:\SCREEN\DEMO5.CVS

- 3. Create directories for AVIs, WAVs, BITMAPs. If can be other places
- however we suggest the above structure.

- 4. Copy CVS Demo files into CVS directory and other files to
- their respective directories.

- 5a. Copy BITMAPS into BITMAP directory. Copy YOUR AVI files to
- the AVI directory. WAV files are optional as AVI files usually
- have sound included. We give you the option. If directory
- structure is different then go to step 5b, overwise go to step 6.

- 5b. Modify DEMO files to point to your AVI, WAV, & BITMAPs.
- *Remember the BITMAPs REQUIRE the use of /T switch to position Video.

- 6. Start Windows and open CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN GROUP.

- 7. Open DESKTOP in CONTROL GROUP.

- 8. Scroll the SCREEN SAVER window until you find COOL SCREEN SAVER.

- 9. Set DELAY timer. (default 5 min)

- 10. Use SET UP to change CVS Projects, set PASSWORD, and other items.

- 11. Save by pressing OK.
