  2. Thank you for trying out the demo copy of Image Alchemy.

  4. This demo copy is intentionally limited to converting images which are
  5. 640x480 pixels and smaller.  The retail version has no such restriction
  6. (there is a practical limit of approximately 2500x2500 pixels for the
  7. MS-DOS version and 65000x65000 for the 386 Enhanced and UNIX versions).

  9. The documentation for Image Alchemy, ALCHEMY.DOC, is contained in the
  10. self-extracting archive MANUAL.EXE.  After extraction the file may be
  11. printed on a printer or viewed using a text editor.  For best results
  12. when printing use a 12 point fixed space font, and make sure that your
  13. printer is set to not ignore formfeeds.

  15. The file UPDATE.177 contains information on commands that were added to
  16. Image Alchemy after the manual was printed.

  18. The samples files for Image Alchemy are in the file samples.zip.  Use
  19. "pkunzip -d samples.zip" to extract them (the -d is necessary to cause
  20. pkunzip to create the subdirectories stored in the .zip file).
