GETTING STARTED
Welcome to IC2! To install, follow these directions:
If Windows is not running, run it by typing "WIN" and hit ENTER
at a DOS prompt before installation.
1. From Program Manager select the "File" menu and click "Run"
2. On the "Run" dialog type the following:
A:INSTALL.EXE
(Note: you may need to substitute B: or another drive letter
to match the drive the install floppy is in)
3. Follow the instructions in the install program.
LICENSE INFORMATION
As an unregistered user you are granted a limited license period of 15 DAYS for a free evaluation of this product. If you continue to use IC2 after that point you must register the program. If you do not register you must discontinue its use.
If you choose to register IC2 you will be granted a permanent license on the copy you are currently using. We also offer a professionally printed User's Guide. In addition, we provide all users with unlimited technical support over the phone. Site Licenses and Volume Discounts are also available ***

WHAT'S NEW IN 3.0
CLEANER LOOK
* Get the new Windows '95 look today with IC2 3.0...
* RMC (Right-Mouse-Click) menus are all over the place; they
give you instant access to commonly-used actions on an item
* Tabbed dialogs are everywhere; use Alt+PgUp and Alt+PgDn
to move in them from the keyboard
* The toolbar can be more easily edited with a new "Toolbar"
dialog on the "Options" dialog
* Plus a clock has been added to the status line
CONTACT WINDOW
* The "Contact List" window has been integrated into the
"Contact" window under a new tab called "Contact List"
* Fields may be arranged in two columns on the detail pages
* The display font can be changed (as well as the color)
* There are four user-defined tabs and new Contact List,
Attachments and Notes tabs. The Notes field has been
moved to its own tab.
* You can specify up to three levels of sorting
* Filters on FLAGS, Category and Status can be created
simply; a list of available choices appears in the Filter.
* A "Locate" option has been added to let you quickly find a
name or company
* A "Contact" menu has been added to provide a centralized
place to manage a contact record
* Options to view other windows have been moved to the "Window"
menu to reduce confusion and shorten the "View" menu
* Right-Click-Menus are everywhere; click on the control bar,
individual fields, tabs, etc. to see context-related pop-ups.
* Use Alt+PgUp & Alt+PgDn to flip between field pages; this is
a MS standars and it keeps strange things from happening in
the Notes and Contact List tabs.
TIME MANAGER
* A new view option to see upcoming events and to-do's
by a contact's name
* Options to view other windows have been moved to the "Window"
menu to reduce confusion and shorten the "View" menu
HISTORY WINDOW
* The window has a new filter system that allows you to
specify a name, date range or activity
* Options to view other windows have been moved to the "Window"
menu to reduce confusion and shorten the "View" menu
FILE MANAGEMENT
* Compress and Repair have been added; just close any open
file and look in the "File" menu
* You can select other templates for a new file (templates can
be ordered from us or created with the IC2 Data Manager)
