Eucalyptus 1.0 - Translator Notes
---------------------------------
In the CT directory, there are now both the .ct and .cd files. If you just
want to translate, use ONLY the .ct file. It has blank lines for you to fill
in the translated text. Then you can just send if off to me, and I'll include
it in the next release.
*** NOTE: Make sure that the version number (on the line '## version') is set
to 100. Also, make sure you put the language to which you're translating
on the line that starts '## language'.
If you want to compile the .catalog file to test it, that's a little bit more
involved. Here's what you do:
1. Put the translations into the .ct like normal. DO NOT alter the .cd file
in any way.
2. Get the program FlexCat from Aminet.
3. Type this in at a shell prompt:
FlexCat Eucalyptus.cd Eucalyptus.ct CATALOG Eucalyptus.catalog
This should create the .catalog file.
4. Put the .catalog file in "LOCALE:Catalogs/<language>". Then you can test
it out with Eucalyptus.
Let me know if it doesn't work, or if the translation strings come out wrong
or mixed up or something like that.
