  15. Deletes text from a document and places it onto the Clipboard  replacing
  16. the previous Clipboard contents.

  21. intact and replacing the previous Clipboard contents.

  25. Pastes a copy of the Clipboard contents at the insertion point or

  30. Deletes selected text from a document  but does not place the text
  31. onto the Clipboard. Use Delete when you want to delete text from the
  32. current document but you have text on the Clipboard that you
  33. want to keep.

  45. Use the BACKSPACE or DEL key

  47. to delete text from the current Notepad document but you have text

  52. Press BACKSPACE to delete the character to the left of the insertion point.
  53. Press DEL to delete the character to the right of the insertion point.

  166. .Six Screens 
  167. Kitchen Sink is organized into six screens, each with a different function
  168. the screens are as follows:
  169.  
  170. Utilities  - includes some common windows utilities as well as 
  171.              ten buttons available for the user to define you own
  172.              programs to launch.
  173.  
  174. Notepad -    is a dual purpose notepad, when you enter a note and
  175.              depress the save button the note will be saved into the
  176.              current daily calendar, daily notes are cumulative and
  177.              may be managed in the calendar screen. The notepad
  178.              may also be used to load and save text files via the
  179.              buttons provided. There is also a drag and drop 
  180.              calculator and calendar available.

  182.  Disk         This screen provides you with the ability to access
  183.               your disk information and well as managed that
  184.               information via the popup menus. Popup menus are
  185.               common in Kitchen Sink and may be accessed by
  186.               depressing the right mouse button in most locations on
  187.               any screen. File utilities are available in the popup menu.
  188.               You may also search the disk via the button provided
  189.               as well as launch any file in the list by double clicking
  190.               on the file.

  192.  Calendar      Utility menu to allow you to access all daily notes that
  193.                you have save in the past, search facilities are present
  194.                via the popup menus that are available(right click), as
  195.                well as the ability to modify the notes, print, edit.

  197.  Wallpaper    Utility screen that will allow you to change your 
  198.               windows wallpaper on demand or schedule changes.

  200.  Config/exit   A combination of facilities available, including, 
  201.                A desktop clock with selectable fonts and colors, the
  202.                clock may be moved with the mouse and will remain
  203.                where the user leaves it on the screen. Two viewers
  204.                for graphics files, which will read and display  BMP,
  205.                WMF,ICO files. A tool to allow the user to configure
  206.                the screen sizes and locations of each screen.

  208. .Resizing by screen
  209. Each screen may be resized to the users preferences, the size and location 
  210. each screen will be remembered by Kitchen Sink. You may use the mouse to do
  211. this or the configuration tool provided under the configuration screen.

  213. .User Defined Launch
  214. User defined launch facilities are available on the utilities screen, the 
  215. buttons may be used to launch user programs. Depress one of the buttons and
  216. you will be able to configure your own programs. The user defined launch 
  217. are also available in the main popup menu, access via right mouse click on 
  218. the frame of any screen.

  223. A simple CD Player is available via the popup menu and the configuration 
  224. screen.

  229. .Clipboard Trapper 
  230. If you activate the clipboard trapper option it will trap up to 20 text 
  231. clips that are sent to the clipboard, i.e. each time that you do a Cut
  232.  or Copy using any kind of an editor the clipboard trapper will save 
  233. that clip, you may edit and save the clips from the clip monitor.

  237. .Calendar Search Function 
  238. Right click the mouse on the dates listbox to get a calendar search
  239.  function, the program will search from the beginning of the notes or 
  240. from a specified starting point determined by the date selected on 
  241. the calendar. Any string may be searched.

  243. .Task Bar 
  244. Once the task bar is running you will need to drop the mouse all the way to 
  245. bottom of the screen to make it appear, all active programs will appear on 
  246. task bar and you may add launch programs to the task bar list under "run".
  247. The task bar will continue to run even after Kitchen Sink has been 
  248. shut down,and must be shutdown by the user.

  250. .Accessories Group
  251. Once started must be shut down by double clicking the control box in the 
  252. left hand corner. You may add and delete items from this group by going into
  253. the Windows Accessories Group under program manager.
  254. .Drag and drop from file manager
  255. You may drag a file or group of files from the filemanager and drop them
  256. anywhere onto kitchen sink. The "File repository" screen will appear 
  257. with the list of files and any additional ones that you may have already
  258. dropped. You may then copy,move,delete,edit,run, or save the list.

  260. .Popup Menus 
  261. Popup menus are available most everywhere in kitchen sink, in some areas the
  262. menus are context sensitive, right mouse click on the standard frame will get
  263. you the standard popup menu, you may launch programs, change screens,
  264. execute utilities.
