WOMEN of Britain this is what life offers you. Whether you are young or not so young just check these statistics in respect of Mrs. Average and see if they apply to you.
The average Miss becomes a bride at:-

24 Baby No. 1 arrives.
27 Is the age when the second child is born. Usually this is the last baby, and for the next eight years life consists in the main of bringing up the children.
By the time the elder child is ready to leave school Mum will be around:-

50 Is the age when parents find themselves alone again. The children have married. It's a reasonably prosperous time of life with both partners working. But after retirement age there is a drop in income and a consequent adjustment in living standards.
Mr. Mark Abrams gave these figures to the National Marriage Guidance Council conference at Hastings yesterday.
On the finance front he listed as "prosperous" single women aged 16 to 34 and young married couples with no children.
Middle-aged married couples are "fairly prosperous," older couples with children working are "very prosperous" but young couples with families and pensioners are "tight."
