  4. edition!  Disc# 1 of 2.

  8. This CDROM contains thousands of MSDOS Shareware programs such as:
  9. programming utilities, general utilities, BBS editors, music, animation 
  10. software, graphics software, communication software, database software, 
  11. and much more.  There is so much software on this disc, you'll spend 
  12. hours browsing through hundreds of useful programs.

  18. 00_index.htm     HTML Index for the disc
  19. filename.txt     Complete Path and Filename of every file on this disc

  21. disc2\           All the files on the second CDROM
  22. docs\            Documentation regarding these discs
  23. docs\view.doc    Documentation regarding VIEW.EXE
  24. starter\         Essential info and utilities for beginners

  30. Using the 00_INDEX.HTM files
  31.

  33. We have included 00_index.htm files so the user may use a Web browser
  34. to view our disc.  
  35.

  37. In order to view this disc using these 00_index.htm files, point your
  38. Web browser to the root level 00_index.htm file.  
  39.  
  40. For example, in Netscape/Mosaic:

  42.     1) Choose File/Open File (or File/Open Local File with Mosaic)
  43.     2) Choose your CDROM Drive under "Drives"
  44.     3) Select the 00_index.htm file
  45.     4) Click on OK

  49. This disk conforms to the level 1, ISO-9660 format.  All the filenames are
  50. limited to eight single-case characters, with an extension of up to three
  51. characters.  Most directories have an index file named 00_index.txt that
  52. contains a description of each file in the directory.

  56. Although you may own this disc, you do not own the programs recorded on it.
  57. Many of the programs on this disc are shareware.  You are free to try each
  58. program for a limited amount of time.  If you are satisfied, and want to
  59. continue to use the program, you are required to register the program by
  60. sending a specified amount of money directly to the author of the program.
  61. Often the author will send you the most up to date version of the program and
  62. a printed manual.  Please check the individual files for specific information.
