I take it you need help with Zdoor...
Zdoor has two menus available...the Main Menu and the Files Menu. Help for
both menus follows.
The following commands are available from the Main Menu:
A)bandon - Leave the conference you are in and return to the main message
section. This change will carry over to PCB when you exit the door.
D)ownload - Begin to download a file using the currently selected transfer
protocol (see the (T) command). You will be prompted for the filename to
download.
F)iles - Switch to the Files Menu. From this menu, you can select a file to
download, examine the contents of an ARC and read files within an ARC.
G)oodbye - Hang up. Terminate connection with the BBS.
J)oin - Join one of the PCB conferences to which you have admit- tance. This
change will carry over to PCB when you exit the door. Conference file
directories become active when you join a conference.
L)ocate - Find a given file on the board. Full wildcarding is accepted.
M)ode - Select ANSI graphics or nongraphics mode. This change will carry over
to PCB when you exit the door.
N)ew - Scans for files added to the system since a given date. The date of
your last scan is the default.
O)perator - Beeps the operator for 30 seconds.
Q)uit - Exit from ZDoor and return to PCBoard.
T)ransfer - Set the protocol for file transfers. Default protocol is Zmodem.
You can select true YModem Batch or, if you have a MNP reliable connect,
YmodemG Batch.
U)pload - Begin to upload a file using the currently selected transfer
protocol.
V)iew - Examine your individual PCBoard statistics.
X)pert - Toggle the verbose menus on and off. If you needed this help screen,
we recommend that you turn the menus on until you are familiar with ZDoor.
Z)ippy - Fast scan through files for a given string. For example, Z MT2 will
locate all files whose name or descriptions contain the string "MT2".
The following commands are available from the Files Menu:
D)ownload - Begin to download a file using the currently selected transfer
protocol (see the (T) command). If you have selected an ARC with the (S)
command (see below), that file will be downloaded. Otherwise, you will
be prompted for the filename.
L)ist - Display a list of the file directories available on the BBS.
#) - Typing in the number of a file directory will cause the contents of that
directory to be displayed to the screen.
R)ead - Read a file within a selected ARC file. Wildcards are supported.
This command will extract and display a text file within an ARC.
E)xtract - Choose one or more ARC members to be extracted to a temporary
archive file for downloading.
S)elect - Choose an ARC for further processing (downloading, listing, or
reading a file within).
V)erbose - Display a verbose listing of the files contained in the ARC that
has been selected with the (S) command.
X)pert - Toggle the verbose menus on and off. If you needed this help screen,
we recommend that you turn the menus on until you are familiar with ZDoor.
A carriage return at the Files Menu prompt will return you to the Main Menu.
On any of the menus, commands may be stacked. For example, to select the
YmodemG transfer protocol, you could enter the command "T G". To scan for all
new files in the upload directory which have been added since your last scan,
you could enter the command "N S U".
