  8.     I appreciate your taking the time to look at AMP.  This particular 
  9. version is the result of 2 steady years of work and is well over 1000 
  10. pages of source code.  This version is the third attempt at developing 
  11. software of this type.  I have done this work drawing on my own savings
  12. which at this point are very low.
  13.  
  14.     Work has started on a version 4.0.  It is my intent to make a package
  15. which is very intuitive and yet powerful.  It will have an ALGOL-like 
  16. language, sufficiently rich so that a mathematically sophisticated user
  17. can write programs to do anything from solving partial differential
  18. equations symbolically to performing Laplace and Fourier transforms
  19. on systems of equations.  It will contain considerable edit and graphics 
  20. capability: it will be able to do dynamic 3-dimensional plot 
  21. i.e. plots that move over time.

  23.     I have the capability to build one of the components in 2 years-
  24. the symbolic and numeric manipulation component.    I am looking for
  25. partners to develop the editor (I am already working on a limited
  26. prototype editor) and graphics package.  I am also looking for one other
  27. individual to do the marketing.  The development language is Modula-2.

  29.     Note that I am also looking for some parttime or contract programming
  30. work primarily in the engineering or scientific area to support myself
  31. in this endeavor.
