Quik Note
Quik Note is a quicky notepad that comes in handy for very short
documents like this. It also beats the full blown word proc-
essor for things like 'Autoexec.bat' and 'Config.sys', and it's
a lot easier to use than EDLIN. Remember, it's not Word Perfect
or anything close, but for short ascii file editing it's hard to
beat.
To use Quik Note just type 'NOTE' at the command line. You will
be presented with the directory of files. You can edit one of
these or use the 'N' command to name your own or to name an
existing file. Help is available from the editor by pressing
F1. In short, most WordStar commands are supported. You
can also use the syntax :
NOTE <filename>
This will cause your file to be loaded automatically so the
directory functions can be by-passed.
If you find Quik Note useful, a small donation of $7 would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks for supporting shareware.
