  1. SIMTEL35.ARC    Easy manipluation/viewing of SIMTEL20 file lists
  2.  
  3. This program will import any SIMTEL20 comma-delimited catalog file and
  4. convert it to a .DBF and allow viewing, searching, printing reports,
  5. etc.  The user does not need dBASE and all the necessary files will be
  6. created as they are needed by the program. 
  7.  
  8. It includes printed reports, file searches by name, full-screen
  9. browsing, user selectable listing order and more. 
  10.  
  11. The catalog date is displayed on the screen so that you know how
  12. up-to-date your current catalog is. 
  13.  
  14. The current topic, catalog viewing order and disk output file name are
  15. displayed for your convenience. 
  16.  
  17. The program has the ability to create an ASCII text output file.  Then
  18. at any time during the program operation you may use the F1 key to send
  19. the current catalog selection to the output file.  This allows you to
  20. edit the file later with a text editor for your own purposes.

  22. You can send the report to a disk file or to the printer.  You specify
  23. the disk file name and it is redirected to the named file. 
  24.  
  25. You can pop-up a menu of all the SIMTEL20 directories for viewing.  You
  26. can also select a directory and jump right to the start of that
  27. directory.  This allows quick moving around in the catalog.

  29. The search function includes pseudo-wildcard capability.  You may
  30. specify the exact file name such as ZMODEM.ARC or ZMOD* to find the
  31. first file matching the ZMOD characters.

  33. The Examine function allows you to search as well, without having to
  34. quit, search and then examine again.
