@1ST PAR PAL = <BI>MICKEY<D>, <%6>a memory-resident utility for<%0>
Ventura Publisher, is now available directly to CompuServe users via
SOFTEX electronic <%6>software distribution, from Ventura Publisher<%0>
<%4>re-sellers, and directly from Metroplex Digital Cor<%0>poration
of Dallas, Texas.
@ARTICLE PAL = When installed, MICKEY activates the unused right mouse
button for Ventura Publisher and triggers <B><169>OK<170><D> selection
in Ventura Publisher dialog boxes. The right button allows users
to select items, <%4>such as typefaces or frame margins, and then<%0>
remove dialog boxes without moving the mouse.
@ARTICLE PAL = MICKEY also provides <169>hot keys<170> that slow <%4>down,
speed up, and reset mouse cursor speed, al<%0>lowing the user to set
a speed comfortable for the monitor in use. This feature can reduce
the tendency of lines drawn in graphics mode to <169>break<170> in
the middle and of frames to <169>jump<170> when selected. With full
page monitors, it is advantageous to speed up mouse travel to move
up and down the page.
@ARTICLE PAL = MICKEY operates with bus mice from AT&T, Logitech,
Microsoft, MicroSpeed, Mouse Systems, or Xerox. MICKEY also works
with serial mice that use the MOUSE.SYS or<N>MOUSE.COM drivers.
@ARTICLE PAL = MICKEY was originally developed for internal use by
MDC as a step toward improving turnaround time in developing documentation
for other <%2>software products. It was made available as a com<%0>mercial
product in August, 1988, to solve a general user need; MICKEY is presently
in use both within Xerox and by Ventura Software, Inc.
@ARTICLE PAL =
@ARTICLE PAL = <B%4>MICKEY operates with Ventura Publisher versions
1.0, 1.1, and 2.0.<D%0>
@ARTICLE PAL =
@ARTICLE PAL = MICKEY's manufacturer's suggested retail price is $20.00
US. Credit card orders (call 214 231-8944) are shipped next day;
immediate copies are available on CompuServe by typing <B><169>GO
SOFTEX<170><D> at any CompuServe prompt and then requesting MICKEY.
